Camping Plan to Agua Caliente

Introduction


This desert is known for its heated springs, which have long attracted
visitors eager to soak in their soothing therapeutic mineral waters.
(Be sure to bring your bathing suits!) Spectacular vistas and miles of
trails that meander through the park's canyons and across its hillsides
are additional attractions.

Schedule

Friday
afternoon --2pm(from Mesa Apt) heading from La Jolla to Agua Caliente
evening -- setup tent and dinner (BBQ + hotpot)

Saturday
9 a.m. – 10 a.m., Geologist led hike through diverse Agua Caliente Spring site. Stop in at Agua Ranger Station for trail meeting site.
A lot of Hiking
7 p.m., “60 Million Years in 60 Minutes.” Geology of San Diego County through various years and changes.
SPA available at camping ground

Sunday
morning: Anza Borrego Tour and Hiking
Or hikings
noon: head home, may stop at Julian for descent late lunch.

Car 2: Paul, Steve, Emma

To Bring
Shared Food (6ppl) : shared 2*dinner(hotpot + BBQ), 2*breakfast porridge
Equip: 2 stoves, 1 tent, more tents from Carole

Each attendee has to bring their own sleeping bag, utensils (eg bowl+chopsticks), and 2* lunch, swimsuit for SPA, flashlight for Mud Cave tour.
